The organizing committee of the XIIIth International Primary Care Diabetes Europe Conference is pleased to announce that this meeting will take place in Barcelona on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th of May 2014 in the Barceló Sants Hotel.
We have the pleasure to invite you to attend this meeting, organized by Primary Care Diabetes Europe – PCDE. This meeting enjoys the support of major professional organizations in the field.
The scope of the meeting comprises a broad range of topics about various aspects of cure and care for people living with diabetes, relevant for all primary health care practitioners and will present an opportunity to share and discuss the latest state of the art knowledge in the field.
The scientific program will feature keynote lectures, state of the art sessions and workshops from international experts addressing topics such as drugs and hypoglycemia, self monitoring blood glucose, communications skills, the influence of E-media and social networks as well as multifaceted management.
In a special “rising star session” a young promising researcher will have the opportunity to present his work, while the 5th “Paul Cromme lecture” will honor a European primary care celebrity, active in the diabetes field.
Participants will have the opportunity to present and share their research results during interactive poster sessions while the top 5 selected posters will be presented in a plenary session as well.
